Returns Policy

RETURNS POLICY

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

We will not accept returns if any item is not in its original condition, is damaged or is missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

We believe our goods comply with the provisions of section 55 of the Consumer Protection Act (section 55(2) extract below).

Except to the extent contemplated in subsection (6), every consumer has a right to receive goods that –

  • Are reasonably suited for the purposes for which they are generally intended;
  • Are of good quality, in good working order and free of any defects;
  • Will be usable and durable for a reasonable period of time, having regard to the use to which they would normally be put and to all the surrounding circumstances of their supply; and
  • Comply with any applicable standards set under the Standards Act, 1993 (Act No. 29 of 1993), or any other regulation.

Our 100% quality guarantee is that we comply with the above standards. Returns are only permissible if the goods fail to meet the above standards. Goods may not be returned if the customer has a change of mind.

REFUNDS

 

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

A 5% transaction fee is levied on all refunds.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain number of days.

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS

 

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

SALE ITEMS

 

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

EXCHANGES

 

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@badgerandquill.co.za and send your item to: 28 Barracuda Road, Jeffreys Bay, EC, 6332, South Africa.

RETURN SHIPPING

 

To return your product, you should courier your product to 28 Barracuda Road, Jeffreys Bay, EC, 6332, South Africa.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

 

You should consider using a trackable courier service. 

We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Return shipping is done at your own risk.
